Kelly Cable of New Mexico, LLC, has served the telecom, fiber optics, power, gas and pipeline industries in New Mexico for nearly 30 years. We perform all aspects of aerial and underground construction as well as directional boring in all environments. Kelly Cable has customers located across all major New Mexico markets, with additional key locations including Santa Fe, Roswell, Las Cruces, Las Vegas and Farmington.
- Assist crew leader in construction/ reconstruction and maintenance work - Assist equipment operators, swamping, hand digging, locating underground obstructions - Work with specialized equipment including jackhammers, tampers, hydro excavation equipment, rotary drills, and other necessary tools - Signal equipment operators to facilitate alignment, movement, and adjustment of machinery, equipment, and materials - Work safely around backhoes, excavators, trenchers and trucks - Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate possible hazards - Complete duties as assigned -
- Ability to perform heavy manual labor for extended periods, in all weather conditions. - Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. multiple times during a work shift - Ability to climb, dig, work in tight spaces, on uneven surfaces, walking, stooping and kneeling - Ability to understand and follow specific oral and written instructions - Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team with co-workers - Ability to pass motor vehicle check, criminal background check, and comply with drug-free workplace policy - English usage sufficient to keep records, place orders, and prepare simple work summaries - Willingness and ability to learn additional skills - ability to work full time 40 or more hours per week with various start and stop times and on-call rotation for after hours and weekends based on client needs- CDL is required. CDL A is a plus. - Bilingual Spanish/English is a plus - Experience working with underground utilities desired Kelly Cable is an EEO/AAP employer.
